TO THE LAKE (2019)

This time we bring you a slightly different option since we are talking about a series of suspense and scenes of all kinds. This series obtained one of the highest ratings in its year of release. These are some of the most outstanding authors Kirill Käro, Viktoriya Isakova, Alexander Robak, Natalya Zemtsova. Perhaps their names are not so well known to you, and it is because they are all Russians.

PLOT: 

People from Moscow are infected with an unknown deadly virus, the main symptoms of which are cough and discoloration of the eyes; after three or four days, death occurs. As the disease becomes an epidemic, the Russian capital gradually becomes a city of the dead: there is no electricity, money has lost its value, chaos and anarchy reign everywhere, and marauding gangs gather. The media is panicking and those who are not yet infected are desperately fighting for food and fuel.

Fleeing from the epidemic, Sergey, together with his new lover, her autistic son, his own son, his ex-wife, his father, and a neighboring family go to Karelia. There, on a small deserted island in the middle of Vongozero, they plan to hide from the threat of infection in a refuge ship that has been converted into a camping cabin. Against the background of a terrible global catastrophe, a cruel family drama also unfolds. People who would never normally have been under the same roof must now band together to try and escape a deadly disease. Along the way, they will not only face various dangers, but also overcome family problems, learn to survive, and try to forgive.

Personally, this series is one of my favorites. I give it a 10/10. Perhaps you are wondering why such a high rating? And it is because we have taken the time to recommend the best series and movies so that you do not waste your time watching movies without a good plot and with a low budget.

One of the best things about this movie is the excellent performance of each of the actors.

WHY WOULD do I RECOMMEND IT?

I recommend this series because in addition to being entertaining it has many other characteristics. For example, it has scenes from real life, situations in which we are normally exposed, it has romantic and sexual scenes, it has scenes in which the most unpleasant parts of the human being are clearly seen. The bad thing is that there is still no date for the next season but we will be attentive to tell you. Here is a question for you!
